Dolly's Cupboard

Dolly's Pantry officially opened its doors on September 17, 2026 with a community celebration centered on the theme "Generations Serving Generations," honoring the life and legacy of Dolly, whose commitment to serving others continues through her family and community.

For more than 35 years, Dolly faithfully volunteered with Volunteers of America, helping serve breakfast to individuals experiencing homelessness. Her dedication to helping others became a way of life and an example for her family and the community around her.

Before her passing in July, Dolly and her son Chris shared a vision of creating a pantry that would serve families facing food insecurity while providing a welcoming place for neighbors to support one another.

Today, that vision is becoming a reality.

"My mom served people for 35 years, making breakfast for the homeless and never missing a day," said Chris. "

Today, her sons Chris & Ray and her grandchildren are continuing that mission. 

Dolly's Pantry isn't just named after her, it's built on the values she lived every day. We want her legacy of serving others to continue for generations. That's what Dolly's Pantry represents: Generations Serving Generations."
